The Foundation was created by The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest insurer of medical liability for physicians, surgeons, and other health professionals. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting and supporting research that enhances patient safety and improves the environment in which all physicians practice medicine. |
To achieve this goal, we will provide charitable grants to projects that support:
- patient safety research, forums, and pilot programs
- patient safety education programs
- research that explores medical liability reform
We believe that The Doctors Company Foundation will make an important contribution to the practice of good medicine by promoting the culture of patient safety and facilitating its integration into the culture of medicine. We hope you’ll join us in our mission.
