Treasurer/Secretary David G. Preimesberger is also Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of The Doctors Company. Mr. Preimesberger was CFO and Senior Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for Mutual Protection Trust (CAP-MPT) and served as CEO of Medical Risk Management Insurance Services, Inc (MRMI). Mr. Preimesberger serves on the Physician Insurers Association of America (PIAA) Finance and Technology Education Committee.
Executive Director Leona Egeland Siadek is also Vice President of the Government Relations Department at The Doctors Company. Previously, Ms. Egeland Siadek served as Chief Deputy Director for the California State Department of Health Services and as a State Legislator in California’s 24th Assembly District.
Director Richard E. Anderson, MD, FACP, is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Doctors Company. Dr. Anderson was a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, and is past Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Scripps Memorial Hospital, where he served as senior oncologist for eighteen years. Dr. Anderson currently serves on the Board of Overseers of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice, the Board of Governors of the National Patient Safety Foundation, and the Board of Directors of Californians Allied for Patient Protection.
Director Charles R. Kossman, PhD, MD, has 30 years of experience in the fields of hematology and medical oncology in Southern California. He is also a Board Member of The Doctors Company. Dr. Kossman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is in private practice and is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California at San Diego.
Director Donald J. Palmisano, MD, JD, FACS, is a New Orleans general and vascular surgeon. He is also a Board Member of The Doctors Company and serves as Clinical Professor of Surgery and Clinical Professor of Medical Jurisprudence at Tulane University School of Medicine as well as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health Systems Management of the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Palmisano was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. He is a past President of the American Medical Association and serves on the board of the National Patient Safety Foundation.
Director Kathleen D. Ricord, who is also a Board Member of The Doctors Company, has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry and is a former Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company.
Director Robin Diamond, MSN, JD, RN, is also the Senior Vice President of Patient Safety and Risk Management at The Doctors Company. Ms. Diamond received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and completed her Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law. She has earned certifications from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the National Association of Healthcare Quality.
